We are way past due for an update on our special needs boy. Shiloh is 3yrs
old, and was born with a congenital malformation, and the forward left side
of his brain is very small and never developed. The cells that are there
are most likely dead. He has no vision in his right eye, and his left eye
is a little smaller than the right. The frontal lobe that is affected, is
important for personality, feelings, remorse and we were told he may never
be predictable, and difficult to potty train.

Astro is a beautiful, red. two-year-old boy. He is very silly, loves to
play, but he does need some training. He will pick up some things that are
not his and begin a game of catch me if you can. He is good with other
dogs, but can be a humpy boy. Astro is not a dog for a first-time dog
owner. We don't know much about him, but we know he was a house dog. There
were some stressful issues in the home, and we think he just did not get
the structure or training needed for a young dog.

Bella is our latest non-Golden resident. She is a wonderful 5-year-old
German Shorthair Pointer that came in with Daisy. We didn't want to take a
chance that Bella would end up in a shelter, so we took them both. Bella is
a fun dog who is very tolerant of crazy Daisy! This girl is fun to play
with...she is great at catching balls mid-air. She likes to cuddle, and
enjoys her dog bed.
